This honey coloured Perigourdine Country House offers you the luxury of a magnificent house set within the Dordogne countryside all designed for an unforgettable French Holiday. Whether you are looking for your annual holiday, romantic getaway, a family gathering or to celebrate a special event this house will be perfect.
This exceptional all year round property is very adaptable, if you are a party of 2 or up to 20 you will feel comfortable.
We promise a truly relaxing, re-energising and memorable holiday, discover the tranquil charm of the Dordogne in the South West of France.

This beautiful house is set in five acres of private land enhanced by large areas of lawn, surrounded by mature oak, popular, walnut and a variety of wonderful fruit trees. The house and gardens are beautifully backed with a patchwork of fields filled with maize, walnut groves and sunflowers.

The main terrace is a perfect place for dining, day or night for that fantastic alfresco living or relaxing by the 33ft x 18ft private swimming pool whilst appreciating the spectacular panoramic views of the valley and offering seclusion and tranquillity.

With large grassed areas many activities such as badminton, football, basketball and French boules can be played. The play area is partly shaded with trees. It has swings, sea saws, trampolines, table tennis and other toys for young and older children to enjoy.

The house is built over 3 levels of living and entertaining space with the main entrance located on the middle level. This floor consists of a large living room with period features, wooden floors, beamed ceiling and this is highlighted by a magnificent large marble open fireplace adding warmth for those beautiful magical winter nights. The house has central heating throughout.

It has UK satelliteTV with Freesat recorder, solid oak furniture, table and chairs for dinning, and three large sofas. The room opens onto three sides of the house, two sides of the room opens onto gardens through french doors, and the third side opens onto the balcony over looking the swimming pool and valley with its beautiful views and ever changing colours.

The kitchen is well stocked and opens onto the same balcony as the living room making it a perfect place for dining and entertaining day or night, or watching the sun go down with its amazing sunsets.

There are two large king size bedrooms, one with a balcony over looking the pool and valley, and the other room has patio doors leading onto the terrace, front garden and children’s play area. There is a large family bathroom and separate toilet on this level.

Top Floor
The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with memory foam mattresses with high quality linen.
Each bedroom has clock radios with I-Pods docking station, Idapt charger units to charge most mobile phones and other electronic devices.

The bedrooms consists of 1 king size bed, 3 doubles, 1 single and a day bed.
Extra beds can be added to these rooms to accommodate families with children.
There are two large shower rooms on this floor.
Lower terrace
The games room has a full size pool table, dartboard, and many other games. The room opens onto a large terrace with sun loungers around the swimming pool.
The patio area has tables and chairs and barbecue facilities all looking over the valley.
For larger groups the lower terrace accommodation can be opened.
The lower terrace consists of a bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with bath and overhead shower, basin, and toilet. It also has a very large kitchen with dish washer, electric hob / oven and fridge.
The TV room has two large settees, tv, video and d.v.d player with very good selection of videos, cds and books.
An ideal place for younger people to have their own space as extra beds can be added to the alcove.

Places to Visit
Sight seeing in the Dordogne can easily be explored with a plethora of caves, fairy tale chateaux, and medieval towns and villages that are picturesque.  
Nearest town is Verteillac just 10 minutes away with an excellent bakery open every day through the summer, butcher, general store, bank with 24hr ATM , post office, newsagent, lively cafes and several good restaurants, including a pizza takeaway tobacconist, hairdresser and a tourist information centre.
There is also a medical centre with an English-speaking doctor and dentist all set around a beautiful cobble stoned square and 19th century church.
This lovely area is also a haven for walkers, cyclist’s bird watchers and artists.

There are so many idyllic beautiful little hamlets and towns to visit around La Coutancie, the likes of Angouleme, Auberterre with its monolithic (subterranean) church, open air restaurants and river beach.
Brantome better known as the Venice of the Dordogne a charming medieval town between the arms of the river Dronne with its ancient monastery, grotto and canoeing on the river.
Riberac with its wonderful Friday market, Saint Severin and Villeboris-Lavalette with its old wooden covered market that dates back to the 16th century.
